iris Gen 2 is now shipping
A fully round LCD with no covered area, WiFi in every device, and the same 57 mm cutout. Two models instead of seven.

iris Gen 2 has left the production floor in Celje and is shipping. The lineup shrinks to two models — iris AiO with the sensors inside and iris Display without — and every function of the old variants becomes a setting.
The whole circle
Gen 1 covered part of a rectangular display to fit a round panel hole. Gen 2 uses a genuinely round LCD, so the instrument reads edge to edge with nothing masked off.
The configurator moved into the instrument
Every Gen 2 device has WiFi built in. Connect a phone, configure the instrument in a browser — no cable, no laptop balanced on the wing.
What has not changed
- The 57 mm cutout — Gen 2 drops straight into a Gen 1 hole.
- At least three hours of backup battery in every device.
- Gen 1 and Gen 2 share one CAN bus, so a mixed panel is fine.
Flying an 80 mm panel? Gen 1 stays in the lineup — it is still the only choice for that cutout.
