ATMO · 3D WIND
The wind you fly in. All three dimensions, live.
Era 57 Gen 2 Standalone ships with Atmo enabled: horizontal wind solved continuously — not only in circles — the vertical motion of the airmass as a gust-immune vario, and wind and climb averaged over exactly the last full circle. No compass, no second antenna: the sensors are already inside.
LX TWO CHIP
Twice the memory. A far faster bus. Our own module.
Every LX instrument so far runs on the LX One chip — an STM32F429 with 32 MB of RAM on a 16-bit parallel bus. Gen 2 moves to the LX Two: an STM32H7R7/H7S7 Cortex-M7 with 64 MB of RAM on an Octo-SPI bus, a system-on-module developed and produced by LX navigation in Slovenia.

Which version do I need — Standalone or Navia?
Standalone if the Era is your vario system on its own, with Atmo 3D wind enabled from the first flight. Navia if the instrument joins a Navia panel and shares its data with your Navia displays.
I already own an Era 57. What are my options?
Two: order the Era 57 to Gen 2 upgrade and send us your unit after delivery — it is rebuilt into an Era Essential or an EFIS — or keep your Era and add the Atmo 3D wind licence.
Do Era 57 and Era Essential stay available?
Yes. Both remain in the lineup unchanged, alongside Gen 2.
